Hello Eldercare Professionals of Ohio Members, Guests, and Friends.

Thank you for all you do to support the EPO organization. Since 2002, we have established relationships with thousands of professionals in the caregiving and eldercare fields. Our professional vision is to enhance the skills and knowledge necessary to enhance the quality of care for those we are privileged to serve.

An important aspect of the EPO organization is philanthropy. Annually, we financially support three local non-profit organizations. We accomplish this through supporting The Gathering Place through the Networking for a Cause event, Cornerstone of Hope in November through our silent auction held at their Independence facility and through a financial contribution to the Gero Psych Department at Southwest General Hospital.

This year we are expanding our efforts to include the Alzheimer’s Association. We recognize the significance of their services and want to support them through a simple, fun, and creative fundraising approach.

We are launching a Change for a Change campaign. We are asking each of our members and guests to collect and donate any spare change you collect throughout the year. We will give you a box for you to decorate with your name and contact information. At the end of the 2024 year, we will collect your change and provide the proceeds to the Alzheimer’s Association. We have LOTS of collection boxes you can distribute to your friends, family, offices, etc. Through your efforts, this could be a very successful fundraising initiative! Please consider participating. If your collection box gets full, bring it to us at an EPO networking meeting and we will give you another box. We want to capture images at the end of the year, so please do not empty the box!

I appreciate your efforts, commitments, and contributions!

Kindly and with my deepest appreciation,

Kelsey Loushin, President, Eldercare Professionals of Ohio, LLC
