Danbury Senior Living invites you to join us to learn more about our community involvement and growth over the last three years.  New apartments, new programs and partnerships with the community will be featured, as well as good food and beverages for all!

Nestled behind the building, thirty new apartments offer lovely courtyard and pond views with spacious social and family areas.  A paved walking path circles the building, allowing residents and families to enjoy a safe stroll through the grounds.  Apartments are available now, and winter stays are welcome!

Danbury has partnered with the Parkinson’s Foundation Ohio Chapter and Dr. Deb Kegelmeyer of NeuKinetics, to provide the Create a Better You program to Danbury residents.  Danbury is certified in the Create a Better You protocol which promotes senior wellness and is proven to improve balance, agility and mobility.  The program’s unique features – assessment, prescriptive exercise and follow up – are based on studies of effective exercise for seniors with balance issues and neurological challenges such as Parkinson’s.  Learn how you can improve your quality of life!

When considering a move to a senior living community, the concept of being told when to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner is often a huge objection. At Danbury, Anytime Dining allows residents a choice of when to dine!  The dining room is open 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. with over a dozen entrée choices, and breakfast is available all day, every day. Cookouts and happy hours are featured weekly, and friends and family are always welcome.  The Danbury motto is “the more the merrier”!

Meet Executive Chef Mike Lipnos!  Mike has over 20 years of experience in the restaurant business and was the executive chef at our local Carrie Cerino’s!  Mike’s awards include Cleveland’s Finest Hors D’oeuvres and the American Culinary Federation Great Culinary Classics.  He is always ready to try new recipes and in fact meets with the Danbury Resident Food Committee regularly.
