Join us for a light dinner and explore how communication takes place when someone has Alzheimer’s, learn to decode the verbal and behavioral messages delivered by someone with dementia, and identify strategies to help you to connect and communicate at each stage of the disease.
The program will be presented by Cynthia Davenport, M.Ed. Education and Specialist and Carolyn Lechner, MSSA, LSW, Elder Care Coordinator of Kabb Law Firm. With 20 years of social work experience in elder care, Carolyn will provide caregivers with additional tips to help meet the needs of their loved one who has dementia.
